Pooja Vidhi Of Navratri March 2023
On first day of Navratri you have to establish the Kalash under the Ghat sthapna muhurt which is on 22nd March 2023 from 6:29 a.m. to 7:32 p.m. You need to put the colours at the temple of your house in front of the Maa Durga idol along with the five types of leaves, haldi, durwa, supari. You can also keep “akhand jyot” a pure desi ghee lamp in front of Maa durga’s idol for all nine days. The unbroken flame (akhand jyot) has to be taken care of; it should not be extinguished.
Devotees can also keep fast of all nine days. During the fast they should avoid Cereal and nonvegetarian food along with onion and Garlic. Devotees need to do kanjak Pujan on the last day of Navratri. Nine girls are called during Kanjak Puja who are considered to be incarnations of Nava Durga. You can open your fast after worshiping them.
