Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme 2025

The Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme was introduced in 2018 by Mr. H.D. Kumarswamy the previous chief minister of the state of Karnataka. Pregnant women in the state of Karnataka would receive monthly financial help from the Karnataka government in the amount of Rs. 1,000 under this scheme. This sum will be given to the expecting woman up to the delivery of the child. The women’s bank account which is connected to their Aadhaar will receive this money transfer. 

You’ll see that the state government gives BPL women 1000 rupees a month during the last three months of their pregnancies, that is the 7th, 8th and 9th months and that the first three months of a new baby’s life are covered by the Mathru Purna Scheme. These funds will be deposited into the recipient women’s bank accounts.

Objective of Karnataka Mathrushree Scheme

The primary goal of this scheme is to offer financial support to the state’s expectant mothers. In addition, the state government will provide meals to expectant mothers under the scheme for a total of 15 months. All pregnant women in the state, particularly those in rural regions should have access to healthy meals at least once per day.
