Eligibility Conditions for BSF Recruitment

Deputation from CAPFs
- Must working on analogous post in parent cadre or department on regular basis OR working as head constable from last 5 years continuously in the scale of Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20,200 plus grade pay Rs. 2400/-(Pre revised) and Revised Pay Level -4 in the pay matrix (Rs 25,500-81,100) or equivalent
- Must hold Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Auto Electrical engineering from an Institute recognized by the Government; or Industrial Training Institute Certificate in respective trade
- Basic Training including Map Reading Standard-I & Medical Category SHAPE-1
For Ex-Servicemen (Deputation/Re-Employment)
- Possess 10th standard passing certificate with ITI in respective trade or 3 years’ experience
- Medical Category SHAPE-1/ equivalent in Armed force.
Age Limit for BSF Vacancy
